Never Fished Before? Got a Rod'n Reel but Don't Know How to Tackle it?
Located in beautiful central Alberta, Get Hooked is Edmonton's premier outfitter for guided
fishing trips, specializing in guided river trips with access to some great fishing holes rarely explored.
Keith Rae and his guides are experienced and avid fishermen, and are sure
to make your fishing adventure an enjoyable one. Get Hooked has been in
operation since 1994, and has been host to countless days of great fishing fun.
Get Hooked operates 7 days a week from mid May to the end of October. Our fishing adventure
trips offer a full day on the river for 1 to 9 guests. For larger groups a "local lake is used".
Bookings for trips can be made anytime for our season. During the months of June or July,
high river season, a local lake may have to be used.

Keith Rae - Owner/Operator/Guide
Get Hooked Fishing Adventures owner Keith Rae has guiding fishing in his blood.
His grandfather Walter Brown was the boat house keeper and head guide for the lord of
the manor in Kelso, Scotland. The fishing on the famous Tweed River for Atlantic salmon
on the fly was a true gentlemen's sport.
Mr. Brown has since past on, but that love for fishing lives on in his grandson. Today
Keith is passing that same love for fishing on to his grandson Rowan who already is
showing signs of being a true fisherman and great guide.

Get Hooked Fishing Adventures owner Keith Rae not only is Alberta's first Certified
Freshwater Angling Guide he is also very active in the fishing and tourism
industry.
He sits on the provincial Fisheries Round Table helping make decisions with the
provincial government on the future of fishing in Alberta.
He also sits on Parkland County's Economic Development and Tourism Committee,
Edmonton Tourisms Partnership Council and Edmonton Tourism Destination Board. He
also is the publisher of the Alberta Angling Adventures guide which showcases
fishing camps, lodges, guide services and destinations across Alberta.
Keith also works closely with his local Fish and Wildlife officers to make sure the
fishing in his area is well protected.

Get Hooked Fishing Adventures believes in being responsible for the environment in which we operate.
We use only 4 stroke engines which help reduce air, water and noise pollution. Our gourmet lunch is served on reusable plates and cutlery, all bottles and cans are re-cycled. We make sure that we use the same lunch spots to leave less of an environmental footprint and make sure we remove all items before we leave. Far to often we find ourselves cleaning up the mess of others not concerned with the land they have just enjoyed.
